Downhill: Ghedina ......(and we're gonna support him)
[by Kingzac - 6 Feb 06]
The "Great Ghedina", 36 years old and at his fifth Olympic, really believes he's gonna get a medal. He's got reason to believe it, since in the last races he showed himself in good conditions to win.
Kristian was glad to be the patron, and probably he was the right man, not only because he's been very importan for the italian Alpine Skiing, but also 'cause he played already in four Olimpycs.
It'll be Carolina to hold the Flag instead and we're all glad for this, but maybe it wasn't a really fair choice.
I believe Kristian's gonna win next Sunday. I think the men's downhill is the most important sport at the Olympics, and if Ghedina will win, then it will be unforgivable. In the meanwhile some of his more formidable enemies (like Hermann Maier) are feeling sick in bed.
